WMHW-FM -- Modern Rock 91.5 -- is a student-run radio station operating from Central Michigan University’s Moore Hall, alongside sister station Mountain 101.1. WMHW-FM is owned by Central Michigan University and is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission as a noncommercial radio station at 91.5 MHz. Modern Rock 91.5 is a service of CMU’s School of Broadcast and Cinematic Arts and functions as the primary radio laboratory for its students.

With a robust HD signal of 9.1 kilowatts, Modern Rock 91.5 reaches from Houghton Lake south to Dewitt and from Fremont on the west to Saginaw and Bay City on the east. WMHW is pleased and honored to extend a helping hand to communities throughout Mid-Michigan. Through charitable events and fundraisers in partnership with such organizations as the American Red Cross, the dedicated staff of Modern Rock 91.5 strives to be a vital community resource for the entire region.
