Best Practices for Submitting Music to WMHW for Airplay Consideration
Please keep in mind that while we can’t guarantee your song will be added, we will do our best to review and consider it for the station!
Song Submission Guidelines:
- Submitted songs must be consistent with our station programming (alternative rock/indie OR hip-hop/R&B).
- We cannot air music with profanity, lewd content, or anything that would be considered inappropriate for all general listening audiences.
- Artists are encouraged to provide their own censored versions; otherwise, WMHW reserves the right to censor tracks for broadcast.
A submission constitutes permission for WMHW-FM to broadcast and use participants’ names, voices, and likenesses, and musical works for non-commercial broadcasting purposes without compensation.
If you would like to submit a song, or multiple songs, for consideration, please email them as WAV files to musicwmhw@gmail.com.
Mandortary information to include for consideration: artist name, album/EP/song title, release date, genre.
Optional, but preferred, information to include for consideration: focus tracks, lyric sheet(s), EPK/one-sheet.
We welcome music from independent musicians and appreciate your submissions.
